Ethics have been a prime topic for discussion since the earliest of times when primitive man first learned to reason. Most of the great books throughout history address the topic of ethics. As with any heavily researched subject, there are many definitions of ethics. This course explores some definitions of ethics and the various terms associated with ethics.

This course will help you define terminology related to ethics, and present you with many ethical situations to consider and discuss with colleagues, friends, and family.

Informal Conflict Resolution (ICRS) V 1.0

The Informal Conflict Resolution System (ICRS), uses the image of a traffic signal or lights on a control panel. It gives us a way to handle what may be inappropriate behavior either immediately on the spot, or after the fact in an informal fashion. That way, initial disagreements or conflicts may be removed at a low level before they become formal or official.

In this course you will learn to evaluate conflict versus tension, and how to resolve conflict in any of four roles: Recipient, Offender, Observer, or Supervisor.

You will also learn that oftentimes some additional training or information may help us understand “Why they act that way.”

All this can make for more professional and enjoyable relationships.
